I am thrilled to see more members everyday! I am wondering about your situations, professionally. What has drawn you to this group? This is very new to me, What I have noticed is that people have joined, lots of views; we even have a new co-author! But I want to hear your voices! Let's talk about something specific: educational technology tools - uses - projects, etc. I am in a K-6, 7-8, 9-12 school district, so any elementary or secondary ideas are welcome.
I find myself starting our searching blogs and group discussions with that very clear question: What tech tools do others use in research projects?
Our district is using Google Ed, and I like the collaboration of docs and presents, but I also love Animoto and Prezi. My problem is that I don't have a class or classes to try them all out on. You see...I am in a think tank, and as wonderful as this opportunity is - I NEED KIDS - to apply what I am learning.
Are any of you using wikispaces for educators? Edublogs? Webspirations?
I have yet to even make a podcast! So much to learn, so much to do. Let's share our best tech tools and maybe a brief example of how they are used.
This is just an idea - any discussions/replies will expand our understanding, our empathy and hopefully, optimism about the future of our own and our students' learning. Like I said - it's Friday. My brain is mellow and open. Let's share.
