Training designed to prepare individuals to use Thinkfinity.org to enhance teaching and learning. This session will introduce users to the variety of resources available through Thinkfinity plus share ideas for integrating Verizon Thinkfinity and technology integration into lessons plans.

Expectations: After completing this session participants will be able to identify the variety of resources available through Thinkfinity, understand how Thinkfinity can add depth to previously planned lessons, and engage students through technology integration in all subject areas.

Freedom Week

a-flag.gif Florida Law includes the stipulation that Florida students recite the following words of the Declaration of Independence during the last full week of September.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,

that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights,

that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

That to secure these rights, governments

are instituted among men,

deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Teacher Certification

It's never too early to look into certification renewal. School districts provide staff with updates of credit earned through professional development opportunities. There are some Florida school districts that have procedures for submitting a record of professional development taken outside of the district in which you work. Many opportunities are available online.  However, if you really need the points, it is best to check to make sure your district will accept it towards recertification. Check on what you need for renewing your Florida certificate here.
