Using Grade Level/Content Area Leaders

In working with teachers in our schools, how can we use grade level/content area leaders to provide our teachers a way to follow their personalized learning plans?  Here are some questions to consider:

 

  1. Who are the ‘resident experts’ on the subject and how will they be identified?
  2. What qualities/skills are important to success as a team leader?
  3. Which teacher leaders would best represent the entire faculty?
  4. How do you represent/include all stakeholders? (grade levels, departments, specialists)

 

How do you see Tincher's Strategy  working in your school? Do you have additional thoughts to guide the implementation of personalized learning plans for your teachers, using grade level/content area leaders?
