There is a website called Little Bird Tales that is VERY elementary for storytelling. It's nice that kids can either create their own drawings or upload pictures for use. Believe it or not, at the high school level, it can be used for helping to identify main points in a story by creating stories that use supporting details. By limiting the number of pages a student can use, it forces him or her to narrow down the supporting details to only the relevant ones.
Hi Ladies - Here is a wonderful collection of digital storytelling sites I have found.
We have used Comic Life where the students create comics and tell a story. They love this! you must purchase it for your computer. http://comiclife.com/
I have limited knowledge of digital storytelling sites. This will be fun to see new ideas for me as they pop up here.
Great discussion item!
Thanks for all the ideas! I can't wait to check out Little Bird Tales, Comic Life and Animoto. I appreciate that teachers have some time off in the summer to explore and learn new things, and then come back to the classroom with a new set of tools to make learning interesting.
Thanks for the new ideas!
Sorry for the bad link above on the PINTREST DIGITAL STORYTELLING sites.
Here it is again:
Can't wait to see all the sites mentioned too and use them for this coming year.
