The Newseum’s Education Department is preparing to launch the "Making a Change" learning module, a thematic suite of resources for students and teachers that explores the civil rights movement through the lens of the press and First Amendment. Launching August 30, 2013, this module builds on our popular civil rights movement classes and will be a free resource on the Newseum’s Digital Classroom.
We are seeking directors of educational technology, state curriculum specialists and social studies specialists to be part of our beta test group. We know this community has many experienced educators whose expert feedback would enhance the module pre-launch. Beta testing involves one to two hours of exploration of the site and completion of a survey.
Please contact me at the address below if you can assist us, or have a colleague who can do so.
Thank you for your time,
