Disinsentive for teachers to take on a diverse class when teachers evaluation are tied to student outcomes.

Large amount of diversity in regular ed class that are not identified

Biggest Pressing Problem we can do something about:

Have to lobby all different groups (state, district, etc)

    - Professional Development - Access to the Core Curriculum training for ....- TA's. Gen. Ed. and Special Ed Teachers, Adm., etc: Melissa head up

    - Middle School (6th-8th) Changes that would lead to more inclusion discussion how do we do this differently; looking at the continuum of K-8 (MIDDLE SCHOOL DIALOGUE FRANCESCA CLEMENTE-JOHNSON) Linda Kraemer

    - Creative ways to find support: Resource allocation vs. traditional ways: Betsey will head up a group

    - Balance between core curriculum and individual needs of students IEP.; parents voicing their opinion on this; setting up a meeting with parents, teachers, adm., district; Kate head-up

    Next Meeting Tues 4/23
