Rose Stuckey Kirk Named New Verizon Foundation President
Rose Stuckey Kirk has been named president of the Verizon Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Verizon. She will lead Verizon’s philanthropic strategy with an emphasis on projects that demonstrate the use of Verizon’s technology in addressing social issues such as education, domestic violence prevention and online safety. Additionally, she will oversee Verizon’s employee volunteerism program and continue to coordinate efforts to communicate Verizon’s overall corporate responsibility messaging. Kirk will oversee Verizon's signature education effort, Thinkfinity.org.

Smithsonian Adds 90 New Artifacts
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History has added 90 new artifacts to its History Explorer website. To explore the newly added artifacts and incorporate these primary sources into your classroom, visit History Explorer on Thinkfinity and sort by date posted.
