just got even better. Where you previously had just two options—Hide
and Reveal—now you can specify who can see each piece of your profile
content. Choose exactly who you want to share information with—Yourself,
Friends, Registered Users, or Everyone—by logging in to the Thinkfinity
Community and going to My Stuff > Profile, selecting Edit profile & privacy, and then choosing the Privacy Settings tab.
2011 AAAS/Subaru Essay Writing Competition for K-12 Educators
This competition offers K-12 teachers the opportunity to share their
knowledge on designing science lesson plans and integrating science
trade books into the classroom. The annual competition, open to teachers
in the United States and Canada, seeks entries that describe methods
for teaching through the support of nonfiction science literature books.
The five best entries will be honored at the 2011 AAAS Annual Meeting
in Washington, D.C. The award includes full registration to the
meeting, a $1,175 stipend for travel-related expenses, and a
subscription to Science Books and Films. The deadline for entries is Monday, December 13.
