Verizon Thinkfinity and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) announce a completely updated EDSITEment website designed to immerse educators, families and students in the world of the humanities. Use primary resources with students to delve into Arts and Culture, Literature and Language Arts, History and Social Studies and Foreign Language with original documents, maps and student-focused resources.

Keeping Kids Inspired During the Holiday Break with Wonderopolis™
Is there a way to keep their minds engaged while they’re away from school? Absolutely! Take a daily trip with them to Wonderopolis during the holiday break. Why are all snowflakes different? Why do people kiss under the mistletoe? What are the Northern Lights? Explore answers to these—and many more—interesting “wonders” each day in Wonderopolis. Each new Wonder of the Day® presents a curious question, a related video to spark interest in the topic and fun activities in which the whole family can participate. NFL^® Play 60 is the National Football League’s "Movement for an Active and Healthy Generation." It encourages kids to play in school, after school and to join team-based programs as a way to tackle the serious issue of childhood obesity. Parents, educators and childcare staff can visit the NFL^® Play 60 website to find tips from NFL teams and players for engaging kids in games, exercise and healthy lifestyle activities.
