How do you provide realistic images for ELLs when artifacts are not available?

One of the difficulties of working with ELLs is having spontaneous images of new words/terms that come up (unplanned) during discussions. One resource has been google images...but that leaves me scrolling through numerous pics to find the right one.

Eureka! I just discovered http://www.pics4learning.com

This is a wonderful free website for educators that has a wealth of excellent visuals on all topics/content areas such as: animals, food, education, space, countries...

Take a look, what do you think?

Does anyone have other websites/apps that provide brilliant images for our students?

Looking forward to adding to my list of resources...thanks, Marie
