The ThinkBytes handout in the Professional Development Community is a good way to introduce your teachers to the various Content Partners.
Jane Brown said, "I like to take one copy of ThinkBytes and cut it into strips with one Content Partner per strip. After dividing my participants into groups by subject and suggesting they collaboratively explore their assigned partner website, I give them the strip that applies to their group as a guide and ask them to find the three specific items listed. This seeds their exploration, quickly getting them into their assigned site and from there they continue to find more to share. After exploration time, they come back and as a small group present to the whole group what they have found interesting. This jigsaw approach works for large and smaller groups. I float around the room to make sure the three specific items are found and presented."
