Apple Configurator is a tool used to set up multiple iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch devices. Apple Configurator is a fairly new app, released about 3 months ago. Anyone who has gone through the laborious endeavor of setting up large numbers of individual mobile devices will appreciate what a tool like this means. Folks will need to set up the "perfect" device and basically sync it to all the others. For those able to purchase a storage sync cart, it will mean clicking a button or two and walking away.
How do you manage iPads in your school? What are some of the behind the scene tasks you must complete prior to release for classroom use?
I love when I learn something new! This is a great tool at a great price (free)! I was wondering if anyone had any creative solutions for storing and securing iPads or iPod Touches. These carts are expensive!
I shopped around and found this sync/charge cart. It holds 15 iPads in a drawer. We bought two. A lock and a peg keep them "secure". Price of $735.26 each, must add on freight, but the total still came out to be a great buy.
