Florida school districts are facing progress reporting at this time. Many districts require progress reports mid-quarter followed by a report card. eSembler and other online grading systems have given parents the opportunity to check on grades and attendance throughout the school year. A direct result of sending home progress reports is the parent conference that is requested. The parent conference request is often a reaction to the progress report.
