In the documents area, I have uploaded a flyer promoting the MIT's Labyrinth Challenge —a free online math contest for grades 6–8 running now through June 15th. While playing Lure of the Labyrinth, students use mathematical thinking to navigate a graphic-novel story. Students and educators may win prizes such as Lenovo ThinkPad Tablets and more. Summer school and out of school youth programs are also eligible to participate. Check it out at http://bit.ly/HVDLBp Do you think this is a good activity to help keep your students engaged through the end of the school?
