How is everyone doing?  I recently received an Ipad for my classroom.  What are some really good applications that my fifth grade students would like and benefit from?  Thanks for any suggestions!

We at Science NetLinks have begun reviewing science apps and we've started a collection on our site of the ones we've been able to review so far. You can see the collection at this link: http://sciencenetlinks.com/collections/science-apps/. There are just a few there so far but we plan to continue to grow the collection over the coming months.

    Good luck!

EconEdLink has created a page for Mobile apps, targeting K-12 economics and personal finance

Mobile apps are becoming more integrated into classrooms.  Educators and students are looking for mobile apps that will support the instruction and understanding of economics and personal finance.  EconEdLink has created a page that helps facilate and organize this search. We have organized this page by several categories: grades, subject, category and price. You will be able to use the filter tools on the right side of the page. If you would like to suggest an app to be listedon this page, please contact us, and we will review it.

Visit the Mobile apps page and let us know what you think: www.econedlink.org/mobile-apps/

hope this helps -- let me know what I can do to help

IMovie is a must. Also, chicktionary and rocket math are great ones.
