I am a high school librarian at West Senior High in Traverse City, Michigan. We offer "West Library Media Center 101" as a hybrid course, with on-site work and online Moodle instruction. Our current online lessons include:
Getting to Know You, which involves creating a thumbnail bio to introduce themselves to their peers
Responsibilities and Strategies for Online Learning
Circulation Quiz, to reflect understanding of our Destiny OPAC
Section Checks, aka shelving exercises.
The kids like the program and enjoy the work, but I know we could do so much more. Does anyone in this group have Library Aide instructional modules to share? Informal best practices and good ideas are also welcome.
