    Hi Nicole,

I enjoy watching baseball on television, but I don't attend many games first-hand.  However, I am a fan of the Atlanta Braves since they have a minor league team in my hometown of Danville, VA.  I am impressed with the EconEdLink lesson on baseball that you referenced in your question.  It's a very comprehensive lesson with many interesting teacher resources.  I'm sure students will especially like researching the salaries of MLB players.

Thanks for offering such a timely, high-interest sports lesson for students to study at the end of the school year.  The topic provides many lesson possibilities across multiple disciplines.

    Lynne

This is a great lesson containing many different activities. The publishing of this lesson is very timely and will be an interesting lesson for students to complete going into the summer months. If you are interested in the economics of professional sports, EconEdLink also provides another lesson referenced in this lesson called: The Economics of Professional Sports:Underpaid Millionaires?
