Are you counting the days until summer gets here? I'll bet your children probably are!
As children get anxious for vacation to begin, use their excitement and curiosity to encourage them to explore the many interesting Wonders of the Day coming up at Wonderopolis.
Do elephants ever forget?
How fast can a tank move?
Do you need special shoes to tap dance?
How long is the longest bridge?
Why do graduates wear funny hats?
These are just a few of the curious questions that will be answered in the weeks to come. Make Wonderopolis a daily stop on your journey to the wonders of the world!
I hope you will share Wonderopolis and the whole Thinkfinity website, including the community with your New York elementary teachers. And I hope they, in turn, will share Wonderopolis with their students' parents.
What a great way for students to continue learning over the summer! It is one exciting learning adventure after another. I can see it stimulating dinner time conversation in the evenings.
That's awesome, Lou!
Wonderopolis allows parents and students to navigate in a number of ways. Each day's featured Wonder of the Day is highlighted on the homepage. You can also visit the Wonders page to see the last week's Wonders at a glance, as well as navigate backward in time. Each Wonder page also features a list of Categories along the right side of the page. This allows parents and students to hone in on certain types of Wonders to explore.
Hope this helps!
