The Verizon Thinkfinity Community Inbox is more than email. Use the community Inbox to track direct messages between you and other members, stay updated on content and comments you created or contributed to, manage direct references to you within the community, shared content between you and the community and community announcements. It is your one stop shop for keeping up with everything in the community that is of interest to you!
Types of Inbox Content
Your inbox tracks different type of content within the community including Direct Messages, Content Activity, Mentions, Shares and Announcements. Each item is labeled with the type of content. See image and description below.
When new content that you are tracking becomes available or if you receive a direct message, you will see a number next to your Inbox in the dark red navigation bar at the top of the page. Select the Inbox to view new content.
In order to view messages, choose Inbox from the dark red navigation bar at the top of the page. Then, select from your messages on the left side of the screen.
You will automatically track content that you create or contribute to. If you want to track other content within the community, look for the Track in Communications link under the Actions menu of any group, discussion, blog or document.
Stop Tracking Content
If you no longer wish to receive updates in your Inbox on certain content, choose Stop Tracking in the right hand corner of any message. You can not stop tracking system announcements. If you no longer wish to receive emails regarding your Inbox activity, you can change your community email notification preferences.
