A webinar is a live, interactive session delivered via the Internet and a telephone connection or VoIP. Webinars allow participants to attend training from their schools, homes or work, as long as the basic technical requirements are met.

• Attendees should have a high-speed Internet connection
• A hands-free phone or speakerphone is recommended or a headset connected to your computer to utilize VoIP (use of a laptop with a built-in microphone and speakers is not recommended)
• Cellular telephones are not recommended
• Attendees should download the following plug-ins prior to the session: QuickTime, Flash, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Shockwave and JavaScript. The Help page provides a description of these plug-ins as well as links to installation information.
• Attendees should use a recommended operating system and browser:
  • Windows XP: 450MHz Intel® Pentium® II or faster processor or equivalent (128MB of RAM, 512MB recommended)
  • Windows Vista: 1GHz Intel Pentium II or faster processor or equivalent (1GB of RAM)
  • Microsoft® Windows® 7 Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate (32-bit edition, or 64-bit edition with 32-bit browser)
