Literacy skill development is a critical life skill, and according to UNESCO, roughly 793 million adults in the world lack minimum literacy skills. This translates to one in six adults. The development of literacy skills begins at a very young age and can significantly impact a student's success in school. With partners such as the International Reading Association, National Council for the Teachers of English, the National Center for Family Literacy and ProLiteracy, Thinkfinity.org offers lessons, interactive games and activities to support literacy skill development so that you can help provide the necessary stepping stones for students as they engage in learning.
